The three brothers and wives got together for the first time since
Rachel and Jon's wedding in 2015. Andrew and Carolyn hosted the
get-together at their beautiful home near Nolensville. The visit
lasted three days, plus travel to and from on the days prior and after.
Carolyn was an outstanding hostess, providing meals, snacks and
entertainment throughout the event. The first to rise and the last
to finish at night, she made the event special for

everyone.
Excursions to Nashville, Nolensville, Franklin and nearby areas for
shopping, sightseeing and excellent meals were the order of the day.
In addition, one day was devoted to visiting Billy R in Clarksburg,
where we got a chance to see great-great-grandfather George Johnson's
1880s pension application as well as old family photos.

The
Clarksburg visit was capped off with dinner out at a local restaurant.
Throughout the three days, much conversation and catching up took place
among the brothers and wives during the visit, with the brothers were
all trying to outdo each other with tall tales of by-gone derring-do and
implausible exploits. It lacked only grown children and their
children to make the visit complete.
