Michael
Wesley is a joy to the entire family.
From a very early age he displayed a keen
curiosity about the world around him. At age six months we began taking him for long walks
outside and naming objects and describing scenes to him.
During these walks, even at this early age he
became
very quiet and displayed an intent concentration as he listened
to and observed each thing described.
This curiosity and desire to learn has carried over ever
since. And yet he is
also very fun loving and mischievous as well.
As he has grown, his curiosity had grown correspondingly, and
nothing seems to be
beyond his ability to understand.
He might best be described as very active, curious and
independent. His vocabulary
is large and his use of language is often quite inventive.
His math and mechanical skills are even more impressive.
And, he is quick to pick apart even the most minute flaws in the
statements and assertions of others -- especially adults! Most of all, he is determined to do for himself, and will
refuse help unless he is absolutely stymied with something.
He is tirelessly energetic and would stay up until all hours if
only
Mom and Dad would let him. Needless to say, Grandma and
Papa spoil him shamelessly when Mom and Dad aren't watching!
