| This was the occasion of Mother's most serious illness, and it resulted in her placement in a nursing home. It was a sad time for all, and we each knew that it was also the end of the line for our family home of 50 years. I woke up the morning after I arrived with the realization that I needed to capture the house as it was -- because it would never be the same again. ~ Michael | |
